Duo miroirs, complicité à quatre mains

Two talented young pianists, Marion Jacquard and Jamal Moqadem, met up during their studies at

the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Lyon (CNSMDL) and in 2011 decided to combine their passion for the piano to create Duo Miroirs. Sharing an interest in discovering french nineteenth century repertoire for 4 hands/2 pianos, a domain which is so rich in musical treasures, they also write arrangements .
Winners of an award at the Concours International de 4 mains in Monaco in December 2015 and of the first prize at the Concours de Brantôme in 2016, Duo Miroirs has taken part in many festivals such as the Festival International de Musique Sacrée à l’Abbaye de Sylvanès, the Festival de Comminges of Palaminy or the Festival de Samoens.
Alongside their chamber music practice, both artists obtained their Masters degree in Interpretation. They were also fortunate to receive valuable coaching in master classes with Marie-Joao Pirès, Brigitte Engerer and Jean-Claude Pennetier.
